Ferretti Group kicks off self-defence courses for women.

Forlì, December 21, 2023 – Ferretti Group, world leader in the design, construction and sale of luxury yachts and pleasure vessels, has decided to promote self-defence courses for its employees.
The initiative springs from the Group’s desire to be proactive in combating gender-based violence following the recent series of dramatic events that have put women’s personal safety at risk.
The Group has decided to make a real contribution to the process of change by focusing on self-defence, an ever more crucial skill that not only increases personal safety but also promotes a sense of confidence and empowerment.
The teachers on the course are personal defence professionals from KMA S.r.l, a company with long experience teaching effective self-defence techniques.
The first course began on December 15 at Riva’s Sarnico production facility and will be extended to the Group’s other sites early in 2024.
