Training and career development play a key role in promoting the value of our human capital. In Ferretti Group, people are involved in and supported on their growth path using special tools designed according to their role and experience. In 2021, a total of 16,522 hours of training were delivered, up 89% on 2020.
The health and safety of the workforce has always been fundamental for Ferretti Group, and providing a safe and comfortable working environment is both a priority and a strategic development factor.
Over the last 11 years, thanks to a series of measures and policies aimed at reducing accidents in the workplace, Ferretti S.p.A. has reduced the accident frequency index (the number of accidents per million hours worked) by 80% compared to 2012. This amazing result was made possible by monitoring potential accident risks in detail at each of the Group’s shipyards and taking the necessary organisational and plant engineering action to eliminate or, if impossible, minimise the risk.
