The Ferretti Yachts winning philosophy: from Altura 690 to the new 881 flagship
14 сентября 2005 г.
Ferretti Yachts, the Italian shipyard worldwide leader in the design, production and sale of fibreglass flybridge motoryachts ranging from 46 to 88 feet, at the Festival International de la Plaisance in Cannes presented two new jewels of its fleet: the eagerly waited Ferretti Altura 690, inspired by an historic philosophy for the shipyard and the Ferretti 881, the new flagship, a perfect synthesis of the "Being Ferretti" philosophy.
The two new yachts, as a result of the close cooperation between the Studio Zuccon International Project and the Ferretti Group Engineering Division, have all the distinctive characteristics that made the Italian shipyard a new icon of the Made in Italy luxury worldwide.
- The new Altura 690 (21 metres - 68 feet) is the first of a new line for which has been chosen a traditionally fundamental name for the shipyard, Altura, that marked the beginning of motor yachting and to which followed many types of yacht up to the present-day flying bridge designs. Light, comfort and safety, are the main features of the Altura 690. Wide rooms allow to "live on-board" and to set out on mid and long range cruises. The master cabin is located aft (Aft cabin) and it overlooks the spoiler allowing a unique sea view.
- The new 881 (27 metres - 88 feet) is the new flagship of the fleet presenting all the main features of the "Being Ferretti" philosophy linked to the concept of enjoying the sea: two wide open-view windows located on both sides of the master cabin, a roomy flying bridge and a spacious garage that becomes a comfortable diving area, allow to have a direct contact with the sea, wherever you are.
But in Cannes, also the Ferretti 591 made its debut:
- based on the previous FY590 project, this new 59 feet yacht represents a perfect balance between design. and performance. It presents wide spaces for the sun and 3 cabins that can host up to 6 persons. As per performances the 591 can reach 34 knots of maximum speed with the powerful engines.
