Kitzbühel, February 2, 2026– Double victory for Ferretti Group at the highly awaited BOAT International Design and Innovation Awards 2026. wallywind110 has been awarded in the category Outstanding Exterior Design – Sailing Yachts, recognising Wally’s leadership in high-performance sailing yacht design, while Ferretti Yachts 800 has won in the category Best New Series. The awards ceremony took place on Sunday, February 1, in the prestigious setting of Kitzbühel, in Austria.

The jury recognised wallywind110 for the outstanding quality of her teak work, her clean lines and unmistakable Wally DNA, highlighting the strong design identity of the second hull in the 110 series. The design team at Santa Maria Magnolfi successfully translated the brand’s core values into a boundary-pushing sailing yacht. Particular praise was given to the innovative cockpit layout, a 60-square-metre area free from traditional side decks, highly configurable and designed to offer multiple seating and usage options while underway. The judges also noted the yacht’s ability to transform smoothly from cruiser to racer, with fully removable exterior deck furniture, convertible tables for relaxation and sunbathing, and a flush deck that enhances both the yacht’s streamlined lines and the versatility of the space.

Launched in 2025, the 33.42-metre wallywind110 exemplifies the brand’s distinctive design philosophy, combining cutting-edge engineering with sleek, contemporary lines. Her carbon fibre hull and superstructure, paired with a teak deck, create a lightweight yet robust platform that balances performance and elegance.

The yacht’s exterior and interior design were developed in collaboration with Studio Santa Maria Magnolfi, reflecting a fully integrated approach where form, function and onboard experience are harmoniously aligned. The naval architecture by Judel/Vrolijk & Co. provides outstanding performance, stability and efficiency, complementing the yacht’s clean, signature lines. Design highlights include a reverse sheer, long fixed bowsprit and streamlined coach roof, hallmarks of Wally’s sailing DNA. Onboard, the yacht accommodates up to nine guests in four staterooms, including a flexible fourth cabin and a dedicated office area, served by a crew of five.

With generously proportioned outdoor areas, including Wally’s signature sea terrace, the wallywind110 combines refined aesthetics with versatile living spaces, offering exceptional experiences both underway and at anchor.

This recognition further confirms Wally’s position within the Ferretti Group as a benchmark for innovation, technical excellence and forward-thinking design in the sailing yacht segment.

Ferretti Yachts 800 triumphed, instead, in the category that rewards the best new design for a customisable series yacht launched on the market in the qualifying period.

The world-class jury appreciated multiple aspects of the design, from the layout to the generously sized galley and overall ease of use, pointing out that this is a series produced boat built with great care that offers numerous customisation options.

The result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, Ferretti Yachts 800 completes the range renewal begun in 2018, featuring exterior styling by architect Filippo Salvetti and interior design by the Ideaeitalia team. With a length overall of 24.47 m (8 ft 3 in) and a maximum beam of 5.91 m (19 ft 5 in), the yacht is available to comply with mooring regulations in various geographical areas.

Ferretti Yachts 800 embodies the new generation of the brand’s fleet and is an expression of the elegant, essential and timeless design that redefines the on-board experience in this segment.

The exterior styling by Filippo Salvetti and the interiors by Ideaeitalia reflect a flexible design process that adapts to the needs of different markets and owners, while maintaining a consistent and recognisable stylistic identity. The numerous layout options offer a variety of possibilities for the main deck, while the lower deck contains four cabins and space aft for three crew members.

The motor yacht can be powered by two 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines in the standard version (top speed 27 kn - cruising speed 15 kn) or two 1,800 HP MAN V12 engines (top speed 31 kn - cruising speed 27 kn) in the optional version (preliminary data).

Ferretti Yachts 800 encapsulates the brand's vision for the future and the evolution of one of its most iconic ranges, setting a new standard in terms of comfort, balance and style, where every yacht becomes an expression of Ferretti Yachts' unique elegance.
