FSD - Ferretti Security and Defence participates in Imdex 2019.

Ferretti Group’s division dedicated to Defense and Security will bring the Made in Italy to one of the most important exhibitions of the sector globally.
Singapore, May 13th 2019 – FSD-Ferretti Security and Defence, Ferretti Group’s division dedicated to Defense and Security, will participate in IMDEX ASIA 2019, the most outstanding Asian appointment in the security sector, to be held in Singapore from May 14th to 16th, at the Changi Exhibition Center.
On this occasion FSD will present to the Asia Pacific market the different configurations of FSD 195, already produced in 2 units, and of the FSD150 Combat Boat, advanced naval platforms whose features meet any security, patrolling and defense requirement of international, national and coastline waters.
FSD150 Combat Boat is a 16.2-meters long boat weighing about 22 tons. Propelled by two 800 hp MAN engines, it can easily exceed 45 knots speed embarking 3 crewmen and up to 22 operators; when equipped with 1200 hp MAN engines it can reach over 50 knots speed.
FSD195 Fast Patrol Vessel by Ferretti Security & Defence is a high-performance boat. 20-meters long and weighing about 36 tons, it can easily exceed 50 knots speed and has an autonomy range of over 500 miles. It is equipped with two 1900 hp engines and can be fitted with a 12.7 mm LRCWS machine gun, as well as with other weapon systems. The FSD195 Combat Boat version can transport up to 24 operators or 6/12 operators equipped with light transport vehicles such as ATVs or motorcycles.
The range is completed by the impressive platforms FSD 245 and FSD 350.
Visitors will be able to explore the features of the FSD models at the P22 stand in the brand-new Integrated Defense Pavilion, a privileged space for the display of the latest and most advanced defense technologies, systems and solutions.
Participating at IMDEX Asia 2019, Ferretti Security & Defense, represented by the Director, Giuliano Felten and the Operations Director, Andrea Ameli, oversees one of the main Asian business hubs. The Asia Pacific region, which has been steadily increasing arms funds for years, is one of the most potential markets thanks to a military expenditure forecast set to soar 609 billion dollars by 2022.

IMDEX records a year-on-year growth in terms of participants. The 12th edition is going to welcome over 10,500 visitors, 230 exhibitors from around 30 countries and over 70 official delegations from more than 40 countries.
