A success for Ferretti Yachts at 'Branchentreff 2009 - european powerboat of the year'

Düsseldorf, January 2009 - The 2009 beginbs with an award to the excellence of Ferretti Yachts, the Forlì-based shipyard - brand of Ferretti S.p.A., one of the leaders in design, production and sales of luxury motoryachts won with the Ferretti 470 the award in the categosy "best motoryacht under 50 feet"at "Branchentreff 2009 - European Powerboat of the Year", prestigious kermesse organized by the editorial group Delius Klasing Verlag in cooperation with BOOT Düsseldorf.
During the event, able to gather the most important international shipyards, a selected jury of journalist and export has crowned Ferretti 470 as one of the most innovative layout motoryacht, with an extraordinary interior and exterior liveability.
Ferretti 470, great novelty of 2008-2009, has been launched as worldwide premiere at the 48th Genova boat show and, reinterpreting the previous Ferretti 460 model, defines "the new entry into the world of Ferretti Yachts."
Result of the highly successful collaboration between the AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology, the Ferretti group marine design and research centre and the Studio Zuccon International Project, the Ferretti 470 is an ideal blend of form and function. The combination of compact size - 14.65 metres long, with a 4.34 metre beam and intelligent optimisation of space creates an opportunity to enjoy the best of Italian-style luxury and experience sailing while surrounded by levels of comfort unknown until now in this type of yacht.
