CRN moves the 74 m new build on the slipway

22 декабря 2016 г.

The spectacular moving of the new CRN superyacht anticipates the launch cerimony, which will be in less than a month.

CRN, the historical ship builder and Italian brand part of the Ferretti Group specializing in the construction of fully-custom steel and aluminum alloy pleasure vessels between 40 and 100 meters in length, is ready to launch its new superyacht: a 74m, characterized by extremely clean lines and impressive volume.

The new CRN yacht showed its great personality, while it was being moved. Designed by CRN Engineering Department, in partnership with exterior designers Zuccon International Project and Andrew Winch Design, who was appointed to create the external guest areas and interior decoration, the yacht distinguishes itself for the elegant external outline, combined with an optimised balance between interior and exterior spaces.

Yesterday, using engine-powered hydraulic lift trucks, the yacht was positioned on the slipway, the ramp where over the next few weeks the pre-launch operations will be completed.

Moving a vessel of this size is always a complex and spectacular operation, which requires the involvement and skills of the all the shipyard workers.

Besides the 74 m M/Y CRN 131, three more superyachts are currently under construction at the Ancona shipyard: 79 m M/Y CRN 135, 50 m M/Y CRN Superconero and 62 m M/Y CRN 137.
