Pershing exports the Made in Italy design and innovation. Pershing 64 makes its debut at Phuket International Boat Show

2014年1月7日

January 2014 - Pershing, a brand of the Ferretti Group, among the leading international manufacturers of high performance open motor yachts, ranging from 15 to 35 metres, will be at the PIMEX (Phuket International Boat Show) from 9th to 12th January, by way of its local dealer Lee Marine. One of the main actors at the 10th edition of this event will be Pershing 64, present in Thailand for the first time. The vessel will brighten the Royal Phuket Marina with its unique charm and distinctive open personality.

Created by the yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni, in close collaboration with AYT&D - Advanced Yacht Technology & Development, a division of the Ferretti Group, which includes the Research & Development, Centro Stile, Product Management and Industrial Engineering divisions, this model, a true long seller of the brand, is 64 feet long with a sleek and aggressive external profile, conceived for those who are not willing to accept comprises and who dream of the comfort, space and luxury found on boats of larger footage, included on an open which has the typical performance of any other Pershing. Anticipating aesthetic and functional innovation, Pershing 64 has elongated windows living the entire structure a great appearance and allowing diffused lighting to reach the large saloon. Thanks to an exclusive retractable glass door, which separates the internal areas from the external cockpit, this area can turn completely into an open space. An unparalleled sense of space, common to all the internal layouts. The galley has been positioned at an intermediate level, thus leaving the entire below deck area free to become a well-equipped and organized night zone, with three remarkably spacious cabins, each of which has its own ensuite bathroom.
Powered by 2 MAN engines of 1,550 hp with Arneson ASD 14L propulsion system, together with Rolla surface propellers, Pershing 64 reaches a top speed of 46 knots, confirming the mission of the brand: obtaining boats whose design and style integrate perfectly to intense emotions they offer. The propulsion system is run by MASTERTRIM, an exclusive functionality that optimizes the performance and the consumption of the boat at any speed and with any load, in a completely automatic manner.

Exhibited next to Pershing 64 will be Pershing 92, a sleek and modern boat, one of the most appreciated and successful “big ones” of the Pershing fleet. Ferretti Yachts 720, for the Ferretti brand, will be displayed too.

“We’re happy to return to Thailand in 2014, together with our partner Lee Marine to exhibit two Pershing models, 92 and 64, the latter for the first time” - commented Alessandro Tirelli, Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Sales Director -. An important result, for a strategic market within the Asia Pacific region. In fact, besides being the first time for the 64 feet, a historical model for Pershing with a production of almost 60 units, in these last months, our efforts as a Group resulted in the delivery of the Ferretti Custom Line 112’ Next sold in Thailand. We are very satisfied with what has been done and we would like to continue growing along on the same lines, year after year, with the presence of Pershing boats and the entire Group on a market that is refined and particularly attentive to the quality of our Made in Italy.”

Pershing 92 and Pershing 64 are exhibited at the Lee Marine stands (E13 – E14 – E15), at the Royal Phuket Marina.
