Forlì, 14 February 2012 - The Ferretti Group, a world leader in the design, construction, and sale of luxury motor yachts with a unique portfolio of the most prestigious and exclusive brands in the nautical world, presents the 2012 edition of“Convergence”, the training and refresher master’s course targeted at the captains of the Ferretti Group’s boats and vessels, which this year will also be open to Chief Engineers.

The meeting, which has reached its eighth edition, will be held from 13th to 16thMarch 2012 in the beautiful setting of Lake Garda, and will include a busy calendar of classroom sessions and outdoor activities that will involve participants from all over the world: all trainees will be able to take part in many training workshops, refresher courses and team-building activities organized in cooperation with the Ferretti Group's Sales, After Sales, and Communication Departments and the Advanced Yacht Technology Product Development Department.

Many technical seminars will be held by the Ferretti Group’s technological partners, including MTU and ZF. The main objective will be to illustrate how the close cooperation between these partners and the Ferretti Group's AYT designers and engineers since the very early stages of product development results not only in successful products, but also in their easy management and maintenance by the crew. During the course, all participants will receive an update on the state of the art of the technological innovations found onboard the Group's yachts, their rationale, functions, usage and maintenance. Last, but not least, both the main technological partners and the After Sales & Service Division staff will organize ad-hoc individual meetings in dedicated corners.

Besides taking part in technical activities, all participants will also be involved in exciting team challenges, aiming to further strengthen a sense of belonging and cohesion, thus reiterating once more the Ferretti Group’s commitment towards these outstanding sea professionals.
