The agreement will be announced tomorrow, on occasion of the Rio Boat Show 2010, at which the Ferretti Group will be present from 8th to 14th April with 6 yachts displayed on a prestigious stand set out over an impressive 210 m². Set out over more than 1000m² at the exclusive, luxury mall in Sao Paolo, ‘Shopping Center Cidade Jardim’, it will display both Ferretti Group yachts and a fine selection of luxury items, such as cars, helicopters and watches produced by some of the most prestigious brands in the world.

The agreement between the two Groups, which have been working together since 1989, confirms the Ferretti Group’s interest in this country. Indeed, it is one of the most important markets in the world, with excellent potential and also a continuous incentive and natural outlet, full of prospects for development.

Moreover, presentation at the Rio Boat Show, the most important, most prestigious event devoted to motoryachts in the South American area, confirms, once again, the dynamism of the Group, which will be displaying an impressive 6 new yachts at the event: Ferretti 881 RPH, Ferretti 830 HT, Ferretti 830 Fly, Ferretti 681, Ferretti 510 and Pershing 64’.

“This agreement is another step forward in the Ferretti Group growth strategy, which will now have an important platform for developing its business in Brazil, with the aim of best satisfying its clients’ demands in this country,” commented Marco Segato, Custom Line Brand Manager and the person in charge of the South American area for all Ferretti Group brands. “Moreover, we’re particularly satisfied to have developed this agreement actually with Spirit, one of the top players on the Brazilian market in the production and sale of yachts, with whom we’ve been working since 1989. This enables us to seize the important growth prospects we are already having in the country.”

Marcio Christiansen, CEO of Spirit, declared, “I am very proud to have signed this important agreement with the Ferretti Group. For over twenty years, we’ve been strengthening our profitable collaboration and achieved important results. I believe this agreement will enable us to combine the unique style and tradition of Italian-made products which is so typical of the Ferretti Group with our in-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market. A great benefit to both groups.”
