Ferretti 460, the elegance and the sea

At the 2003 edition of the Genoa Boat Show, FERRETTI YACHTS displayed as a world preview the Ferretti 460, the new addition to its line-up of luxury boats. Thanks to its clean, attractive exterior design, the new motoryacht stands out in terms of elegance and performance capabilities.
The fruit of an innovative design project by Ferretti's Engineering Division and Studio Zuccon International Project, the Ferretti 460 will be the flagship in the FERRETTI YACHTS range, striking the ideal balance between "compact" dimensions (14.35 m), great comfort and excellent performance.
As you go aboard, the saloon welcomes you with its generous dimensions: a stylish, comfortable "U" shaped sofa creates a cosy conversation corner, while the daytime area can be readily converted into a dining room by extending the central table. All furnishings have been designed to make optimal use of space and enhance the value of the interior with light-coloured oak wood and finishing elements that can be customised to create enticing contrasts with the other materials.
Comfort and attention to details are reflected in a number of stylish elements, such as the black granite top in the kitchen area and the pure virgin wool carpeting that adds yet another touch of refinement to the living area. Considerable care has also been devoted to the helm station, where the dash is protected by scratch-proof paint, and everything has been designed to combine styling with ease of use.
The night zone includes two guest cabins, at the centre of the yacht, one fitted with single beds arranged in parallel and the other with beds stacked one on top of the other, separated from the spacious owner's cabin at the bow by two richly equipped bathrooms.
The flying bridge, fully redesigned, includes a friendly dinette with a central table, that offers extra space to live at sea with a unique degree of comfort. The living area is equipped with a chaise longue next to the helm stand, to assist in the selection of the course. The lines of the Ferretti 460 are enhanced by a big spoiler on the stern which is extremely efficient, as in all Ferretti models. The owner will also find all the room he/she needs in the sunbathing platform and the cockpit, designed to provide ample freedom of movement.
