sábado, 28 de marzo de 2009

Forlì, March 2009 After having introduced some of the most important news of the nautical year 2008-2009, FERRETTI YACHTS and MOCHI CRAFT, icons of Made in Italy luxury in the world, dock at International Croatia Boat Show 2009 with the excellence of their boats. At the boat show, that will take place in Split from March 28th to April 5th, will be on display for the first time four innovative models, expression of the excellence of the shipyards.
FERRETTI YACHTS, will expose the new ALTURA 840 - evolution and renewal of the historic series born in the mid-1970s - and FERRETTI 510 - yacht designed with the ambitious mission of redefining the standards of the flying bridge from 50 to 60 feet sector:

Altura 840 marks an evolution and renewal for the yard, extending the historic series born in the mid-1970s with Altura 42 a fibreglass motorsailer inspired by the principles of light, comfort and safety. This was followed in the 1980s by the Altura 46 and Altura 49, pioneer models that opened up an age of motoryachting with cutting edge innovation. Altura 840 has been conceived with an extremely comfortable yacht with generous, welcoming spaces and cutting edge technology, complemented by finishings with a nautical feel, including an extensive use of wood.

Ferretti 510, with its compact size, 16 metres long by almost 5 metres wide offers innovative full beam master cabin with a chaise longue and an open-view window, a real suite at sea level swathed in light, with the shades of teak gold wood; the living area, thanks to the up-and-over window in the stern, makes it possible to create an open space including the salon, the cockpit, the kitchen/bar and the dining area without interruptions. The sky lounge without roll bar and the spoiler allow the 510 to sport a dynamic, yet very elegant, line.

MOCHI CRAFT will display one of the most important novelties of the season: Long Range 23, the first Zero Emission Mode motor yacht over 20 meters. Besides Dolphin 64, the aquamarine Lobster boat which expresses the perfect balance between sophisticated elegance, performance and comfort on board:

through Long Range 23 Mochi Craft rewrites the history of the international nautical sector. Driven by the passion of Norberto Ferretti and made possible by the years of research carried out by Ferretti's AYT Advanced Yacht Technology, in collaboration with the Studio Zuccon International Project, the new 75 feet Long Range 23 embodies a real distillation of innovation and technology. Equipped by the revolutionary hybrid propulsion system, Long Range 23 can operate in 5 different modes easily controlled through a touch-screen display ranging from the traditional diesel function to the zero emissions mode. Hydrodynamic efficiency is ensured by the new FER.WEY (Ferretti Wave Efficient Yacht) trans-planning hull which - thanks to the innovative design of the depth surface - permits the boat to avoid adopting the usual stern-down (pooped) attitude when speed is increased. The new FER.WEY hull also reduces the typical roll experienced by displacement hulls and improves static stability by up to 50%. Its special design, with longitudinal tunnels protecting the props and a horizontal base on the bow bulb, allows the boat to rest on sandy bottoms and stay moored in locations subject to tides.

Furthermore MOCHI CRAFT, founder of the Lobster Boat Italian Style displays, Dolphin 64. In the traditional style of the yard this boat stands out for the harmonious and rounded forms of its hull, for its distinctive colouring, for the use of fine woods and leather and the sophisticated design of the bitts, carefully milled from a single block of steel and featuring an engraved dolphin, symbol of the shipyard. As well as in aquamarine, the Dolphin 64 is also available in turquoise, coral and cream yellow, in addition to the more classical deep blue and amaranth.

At the 11 International Croatia Boat Show FERRETTI YACHTS and MOCHI CRAFT will be represented by the exclusive dealers for the Adriatica area: MENNYACHT GROUP (www.mennyacht.com) and YACHTING PIVATUS (www.pivatus.hr).
