MOCHI CRAFT LAUNCHES THE FIRST DOLPHIN 64’ CRUISER

Dienstag, 31. Juli 2012

Tuesday, 31st July, 2012 – A new and much awaited launch for Mochi Craft, brand of the Ferretti Group. The new model of the planing line, the Dolphin 64’ Cruiser, just hit the water. In the last few days, the technical launching operations for this new model have been carried out at the dock of Cesenatico (Italy). This crafts results from the collaboration between the architect Brunello Acampora from Studio Victory Design, Norberto Ferretti, AYT - Advanced Yacht Technology and the Centro Stile Ferrettigroup.

All technical operations shall be completed on board in the coming weeks: tests by RINA, sea trials of the prototype, system and unit tests and the internal fitting will be completed. The Dolphin 64’ Cruiser will then move to France, where it will be presented as a world premiere at the 35th edition of the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes, from 11th to 16th September. The new model by Mochi Craft will then be on display in Genoa, at the coming edition of the International Boat Show, from 6th to 14th October.

Sailing excellence, comfort, elegance and a further touch of innovation are the key-words of this new model, together with a great freedom of movement inside and outside. A painstaking care for on board finishing is the characteristic of the brand: from deck gunwales to lifelines in solid teak with a natural finishing, to the master craftsmanship featured by the bitts obtained from one single block of steel, bearing the engraving of the dolphin. Everything is completed by a contemporary flair, thanks to innovative decoration and design solutions.

The wide glazing of the Dolphin 64’ Cruiser offer an unmatched extended view of the sea, and the external light enhances the volumes on board. Light is the protagonist underdeck, thanks to the typical glazing on the hull. The distinguishing feature of the external layout is the wide flybridge, extending towards the stern, covering the cockpit. Guests on board can enjoy new, wide exterior spaces, in direct contact with the sea.
