With a sleek, dynamic profile, spacious interiors and a harmonious flow between interiors and exteriors, this planing trideck yacht entered the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
Ancona, October 8, 2026 – On September 30, at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, the first Custom Line Saetta 128’ was launched with great satisfaction and enthusiasm, in the presence of everyone who contributed to the development of this project. Also present at the launch were the architects who collaborated on the project, Matteo Sassone and Veronica Yien of SY Design, responsible for the exterior design, and Chiara Massarani of ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who designed the interior architecture. The new Custom Line Saetta 128’ has already won hearts in the marketplace, with three yachts already sold, confirming the high level of interest.
The yacht has numerous features that will allow the owner and their family to enjoy a unique cruising experience aboard this bespoke yacht: a sleek, dynamic silhouette, spacious settings spread across three decks and a harmonious flow between interiors and exteriors, right through to the exclusive sky lounge on the upper deck and the beach club at the stern – privileged spaces designed to enhance the connection with the sea they overlook.
The new yacht was built entirely at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Custom Line Saetta 128' expands the Saetta range – the brand’s family of planing yachts – with a bespoke design that has a length overall of 39.80 m and a maximum beam of 7.69 m, while remaining below the 300 GT threshold.
The exterior design is the work of SY Design – Matteo Sassone and Veronica Yien – in their first collaboration with the brand, with interiors by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Completing the project, Custom Line Atelier provided expert support in the development of the interiors, defining the style and bespoke solutions.
Spanning three decks and designed with comfort and the outdoor lifestyle in mind, Custom Line Saetta 128' puts the focus on well-being, conviviality and freedom of customisation, with a layout that ensures privacy and functionality in the areas dedicated to guests and crew.
The main deck features a spacious aft deck covering 33 square metres, ideal for socialising and relaxing, which leads into the main lounge, spanning 40 square metres and incorporating the dining area. At the bow is the owner’s suite with a dressing area and en-suite bathroom – a private retreat where the natural light streaming through the full-height windows enhances the sensory connection with the sea. The upper deck is home to one of the most distinctive features of Custom Line Saetta 128': a sky lounge of about 20 square metres, which opens onto a 40-square-metre aft terrace.
At the bow, a 25-square-metre area features a spacious U-shaped sofa with built-in storage and a sunbathing area which, thanks to the new deck layout, transforms into a refined space dedicated to relaxation and comfort, with the option of incorporating a wellness area complete with a hydro-massage tub.
Spacious outdoor areas are also a feature of the sundeck, which dedicates its 30 square metres to al fresco relaxation, with sun loungers and free-standing furnishings allowing for maximum personalisation. The lower-deck layout features 4 cabins – three VIP and one guest – accommodating a total of 10 guests, which can be increased to 11 with the addition of a pullman bed. The crew quarters, designed to accommodate 6 crew members, including the captain, are located at the bow of the lower deck.
Externally, the silhouette is sleek and dynamic: the design of the stern gives the yacht a bold character, while the generous screen-printed glazing in the saloons lightens the overall volume and opens up the view of the landscape, creating an image in which sportiness and elegance coexist naturally.
The same energy evident in the exterior styling guides the interior architecture, where soft geometries and furniture with suspended bases seem to float in the air, continuing the sweeping line of the hull. Large, full-height windows flood the settings with natural light and ensure that the sea is an integral part of life on board. This first Custom Line Saetta 128' features the Perfect Mood interior concept, which showcases a sophisticated palette of lacquered finishes in chocolate and mocha tones, walnut and maple wood varieties, white marbles such as Sivec, and ivory wallpaper with a three-dimensional texture. This highly refined aesthetic, featuring a careful selection of finishes and craftsmanship, creates sophisticated and cosy settings.
Custom Line Saetta 128’ is fitted with two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,638 HP, driving the yacht to a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots (preliminary figures).
An important factor is that the yacht can be certified according to IMO Tier III regulations. This certification, obtained by implementing an SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by up to 70%, in line with Ferretti Group’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
