Ancona, August 5, 2025 – In less than two months, between April and May, Custom Line celebrated the launch of six new made-to-measure yachts at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona three Navettas and three yachts in the planing line – confirming a pace of production that clearly demonstrates the shipyard’s capacity and organisation. They take the total to 11 yachts launched from the start of the year until spring, testifying to the brand’s design quality, production excellence and ability to interpret and realise the desires of each individual owner. Every yacht is a unique creation, bringing together technical innovation and expert craftsmanship in a made-to-measure construction process devised to express the owner’s identity.

The first of the spring launches took place last April 8, when the twenty-fifth Custom Line 106’ hull in the planing line entered the water. In the following weeks, the shipyard went on to launch another five boats with lengths from 30 to 42 metres, all at ceremonies attended by the yard’s employees and external contractors.

The fourteenth Custom Line Navetta 42, which entered the water on April 10 with the captain in attendance, is the result of a design journey led by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, during which the Custom Line Atelier played a strategic role in the interior design process by interpreting the style requirements of the owner family based in the AMAS region. With a length of 41.8 m and a beam of 8.1 m, Custom Line Navetta 42 in the brand’s displacement line features a powerful sculpted silhouette. The yacht’s ambitious volumes combine formal clarity and functional aesthetics, maximising the living space in true American style. The concept, developed as a villa on the water, gathers the whole family together in spaces designed to encourage socialising and the on-board lifestyle. Large, multi-purpose spaces inspired by family homes define the style of the yacht, with a generous kitchen, lounges furnished with large sofas and convivial low tables, 75-inch mega screens for sharing entertainment, and a wellness area with sports equipment on the upper deck, offering all home comforts even when on the water. The interiors speak a contemporary formal language, with meticulously selected materials and soft colour tones such as beige and brown in a conversation between functionality and aesthetics. Prized marble – Taj Mahal, Pietra Imperiale and Travertine – adorns the bathrooms and tops, while the choice of easily washable materials reflects the yacht’s family-friendly focus.

17 and 22 April saw the launch respectively of the sixth and fourth hulls of the Custom Line 140’ planing line flagship, the made-to-measure yacht with sleek, bold styling, a length of 42.61 metres and a maximum beam of 8.54 metres. The design is the result of joint effort by the Strategic Product Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department for the interiors. Additional support came in the form of Custom Line Atelier’s tailor-made approach, which adds detailed research and a close focus on detail, working in tandem with the customer, the project management and production teams, and expert craftsmen who perfectly capture the style preferences of each owner. The design, inspired by residential architecture, combines timeless elegance with an intimate and personal atmosphere, pointed up by meticulous detailing and layout choices that maximise comfort. Both owners, based in the AMAS region, focused the design of these made-to-measure yachts on the ideas of conviviality and family, imagining them as a space designed to welcome multiple generations and enjoy moments of sharing between friends and loved ones. These two close-knit families have chosen to make the yacht somewhere to rediscover the pleasure of spending time together, in settings at once elegant and informal.

The owner couple of the sixth Custom Line 140’ took part in the launch ceremony with great enthusiasm, seeing the yacht not only as somewhere to meet, but also as the expression of a dynamic lifestyle. This vision is realised, at their request, in the form of a fully appointed wellness area on the sun deck, so that they can maintain their exercise routine even when on board. There was a special focus on aesthetics: every setting, from the main lounge to the captain’s cabin and crew quarters, is personalised with striking period photographs of Italian seaside resorts in the 1960s, creating an engaging artistic atmosphere designed to welcome everyone as an integral part of the experience on board. The choice of materials too reveals a bold, refined personality, featuring Travertine Titanium marble with elegant grey-brown shading, and matt-effect white Travertine used for wall coverings in the bathroom areas. Pale, luminous colour tones define the interior and exterior aesthetic, providing a neutral backdrop for a vibrant interplay of colours, with turquoise, yellow and orange accents on decorative cushions adding movement and lightness.

The fourth Custom Line 140’ hull showcases a bold sense of taste, not least in the architectural decisions made to increase the outdoor seating so that the mild climate can be enjoyed in perfect American coastal style, taking advantage of the open-air spaces for a full ten months out of the year. The interiors stand out for their rich, theatrical decor inspired by Roman Empire aesthetics, where classic Travertine is paired with prized Breccia Capraia marble featuring sumptuous cream, purple and burgundy veining that conjures up the luxury of imperial draperies. Completing the look, leather-clad ceilings with visible stitching give the interior spaces a refined touch inspired by the world of high-end leather goods. The owners of this yacht are brand loyalists who have chosen to grow with Custom Line, transitioning to a larger flagship model.

Last May 12, the Custom Line shipyard also celebrated the launch at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona of the thirty-fifth Custom Line Navetta 33, a masterpiece of design and made-to-measure elegance. With a length overall of 33 metres and 7.52 metres in the beam, this yacht is the result of a joint effort by the Strategic Product Committee - which handled the exterior styling - and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, whose architects and designers created the interiors, with strategic design consulting provided by the Custom Line Atelier.
The interior and exterior design features muted colour tones ranging from beige to grey and enriched with burgundy detailing. Custom Line Atelier’s architects, together with the rest of the shipyard’s project team, worked closely with the owner to fully customize the spaces, creating a sense of perfect harmony between indoors and outdoors.

Bringing the spring season to a close, May 16 saw the launch of the twenty-fourth Custom Line Navetta 30. With a length of 28.43 m and a beam of 7.3 m, this made-to-measure yacht delivers ambitious volumes while continuing to convey a feeling of lightness and cruising elegance. The design was a joint effort by the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The interiors are by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel in partnership with the Custom Line Atelier, while the exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti. Permeated by a sporty but sophisticated spirit, the yacht has a design vision with a clear focus on conviviality. The interior and exterior spaces are complementary, and their interconnection translates into a seamless linear continuum designed to optimise how the settings are used and their functions. The interiors are classic in style, and the dynamism of the contrasts stands out in the well-balanced combination of pale, delicate colour tones such as white and beige with evocative shades of burnt brown and dark grey.
