Montag, 29. April 2013

Ancona, Monday 29th April 2013 – In a private ceremony, this morning at Ancona, CRN Shipyard launched the megayacht CRN Navetta 43 #08 “Lady Genyr”, 43 metres. The launching was attended by the Owner's family, the workers and the top management of CRN. CRN is the Ferretti Group's Shipyard specialising in the construction and marketing of fully-custom and semi-custom megayachts made of steel, aluminium and composite material, ranging from 40 to 90 metres. Lady Genyr is the eighth megayacht of the successful Navetta 43 line, a valuable result considering the size of this type of vessel. The first was CRN Navetta 43 #01 Emerald Star (delivered in 2007), followed by #02 Hana and #03 Rubeccan (2008), #4 Sofico (2009), #5 Eviva and #06 Kate (2010) and #07 Lady Trudy (2011), all megayachts with entirely customized interiors. Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO of CRN S.p.a., claimed “Today's launching is a further important step for CRN in establishing itself among the top players of international yachting. Just three months from the historic launching of the 80 metre ‘Chopi Chopi’, the largest pleasure vessel ever manufactured by CRN, the eighth Navetta 43 was put to sea. This continuity shows the commitment and the productive capacity of the Shipyard that has shown itself capable of combining innovation and tradition, creating tailor-made products for each Client". With its fourdecks and hull with bulbous, Lady Genyr, when compared to the other megayachts of the Navetta 43 line, has a newlayout of the sun deck, characterized by even wider spaces. Among its special features is the internal lift linking the decks, expressly requested by the Owner. A distinctive feature of this vessel, like on most other ships of the CRN fleet, is the terrace of the Owner's suite which is set up as a “balcony” with coffee tables and armchairs for breakfast, to be enjoyed while sailing. In the interior spaces, classic timeless features prevail, giving it a design of sharp elegance. It is worth noting the large area set up as a fitness area at the stern, equipped with Technogym and Kinesis equipment, practically overlooking the beach by the sea, a distinctive feature of CRN and a true “must have” for the clients, who will be able to experience a unique way of enjoying close contact with the sea, in a very direct manner. The vessel is also equipped with by “myOlos”, an integrated entertainment, info and domotics system, developed by the partnership among CRN, Videoworks and Intel to obtain on board functionality and a more user-friendly technology. The system allows you to manage easily all the entertainment - including audio and video on demand – air conditioning, video-surveillance, light and curtain control, just by using an iPad. Once launched, the vessel will remain at the shipyard for the interiors to be completed: the final delivery to the Owner will take place in July.
