The most difficult and stimulating challenge when you work in the world
of yachting is to design and build boats that blend harmoniously into any
surroundings: the magnificent sea around Capri, the crystal-clear waters
of Saint Barts, the tropical landscapes of Langkawi, the sun-drenched

beaches of Australia’s Gold Coast.
First impressions are what create wonder, spark the desire for freedom,
and bring out the irresistible urge to cruise. They are the primary emotions
– vision, dream, movement – that determine the success of a new model.
From the early pencil sketches to the launch ceremony, it’s all about art
and design. We work to deliver increasingly more beautiful and innovative
boats that inhabit and interpret the world’s most beautiful seas.
Beauty attracts beauty, and every page of this new issue of Protagonist is
a treat for the eyes. From stunning Italian top model Vittoria Ceretti to the

magnetic charm of Pedro Pascal, and from Wes Anderson’s visionary sets
to the spectacular taste and colors of the recipes prepared by the Mellino
family at the three-Michelin-starred Quattro Passi restaurant.
Our boats will also take your breath away: Riva Cento, the ultimate exam-
ple of elegance and exclusiveness; Ferretti Yachts 940, best described as
a villa on water, and the future-forward wallyrocket71, a racer with ground-
breaking aesthetics and performance.

This is a year of great creative vitality for Ferretti Group. We presented
four new Riva models at last June’s event in Sarnico alone, and we’re gear-
ing up to launch eight world premieres at major boat shows in the upcom-
ing months, from the Monaco preview to the autumn shows: brand new,
inimitable, quintessentially Italian and stunningly beautiful vessels.
Alighiero Boetti wrote that the purpose of art is “to bring the world into
being”, and all our yachts contain a new world: one designed, built, and
destined for navigation and the pursuit of wonder.
