ST-GERMAIN NATURE IN A GLASS

The perfect balance in a cocktail can also be achieved with

a delicate flower that withers as soon as it’s picked, but that

can also enhance the scent and character of every sip.

Scented, with a French allure, and vintage like a good wine. It’s St-Germain, a super-premium liquor from the Bacardi group, and
a favorite among bartenders who want to make elegant cocktails with unforgettable flavors. What makes St-Germain a unique liquor
is its craftsmanship, its strong respect for nature, and how it’s made, which is 100% from elderflowers. But not just any elderflowers.
There is a limited production of St-Germain because it only uses fresh elderflowers from the foot of the French Alps, hand-picked once
a year during a very limited window of only four to six weeks in the late spring. “The history of this liquor is closely tied to the love for
nature. After being harvested, the flowers are delivered to small centers where workers are paid for every kilo they bring in. The mace-
ration process starts immediately, so it can capture the elderflowers’ freshness, enhance their fruity notes, and not lose their essence.
Every bottle is numbered individually and labeled with the year of production. And, just like with wines, the vintage is based on the
year of the flowers’ seasonal harvest and is highly appreciated,” explains Tobia Lorenzani, Customer Marketing Manager of Bacardi’s
premium brands, who knows everything about St-Germain. The cocktail that best enhances the aromatic essence of this liquor is the
Hugo, made with St-Germain, champagne or prosecco, soda water, ice, and a twist of lime.
