Ferretti's Got Talent
It’s talent when it all seems so easy, but only a few
can do it. It’s talent and hard work when yachts are
designed at such a high level, the likes of which have
never been seen.
In yachting, talent is sought after and indispensable
just as in all other aspects of life: in the past, it was
the mastery with which carpenters could shape a tree
trunk for the hull, today it is the designer’s pencil,
the light bulb of creativity that inspires technological
innovation, the original combination of colors that
makes an interior’s beauty mesmerizing. It also takes
talent to recognize talent. In this edition of Protagonist,
we have seen it in the young Charles Leclerc—the
Ferrari team driver who wears the Riva brand on his
helmet—in the globally unique talent of the Frecce
Tricolori team, and in the art of Lucian Freud. You’ll
also find considerable yachting talent in the new
Custom Line 106’ and its brilliant vision of navigation,
in the immeasurable beauty of Riva 50 Metri, and in
the endless thrill of Pershing 140.
In September, come the trade fairs, and we hope to
see you at Cannes and Monaco to show you the most
talented yachts we have ever made.
Happy reading!
