Chiara Soldati (above) is the fifth generation at the helm of La Scolca, together with her father Giorgio. Purchased between 1917
and 1919 by her great-great-grandfather, the winery nestles into the rolling hills of Gavi, in Piedmont. Chiara says:
“Culturally there is a return to white wines and Spumanti, thanks also to the arrival of women in the wine world” (www.lascolca.net).
