Robert MC Dougal is the new Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line vice president sales & distribution for the Americas

Thursday, March 20, 2008

Based in Miami, USA, McDougal will be in charge of developing the commercial network by establishing close links with the existing brokers and dealer network, as well as identifying the most favorable commercial opportunities across the American continent. He will also ensure continued implementation of customer care and assistance services for owners of the three brands.

According to McDougal, "The American luxury yacht market offers great potential for Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line. Outstanding quality, excellence in design, revolutionary technology, continuous customer service, plus the unmistakeable Italian style of our yachts, instils the confidence to move forward with great conviction, as Ferretti continues to be recognized as the icon of Italian luxury. Our objectives are all closely interlinked, and focused on increasing market share for the three brands and improving distribution to the benefit of our dealers, and of course our owners!"

For Ferretti Yachts and Mochi Craft, McDougal will concentrate on managing the entire distribution network, supervising every aspect of services offered to dealers, distributors, brokers and, of course, owners. For the Ferretti Custom Line brand, however, McDougal will take direct responsibility for the market, ensuring the quality and efficiency of delivery and general customer care services.
Finally, McDougal has the job of developing the commercial network in countries across the Americas, where distribution agreements have not yet been negotiated.

Born in Miami 54 years ago, Robert was most recently with Allied Richard Bertram Marine Group, where he was Executive Vice President of Operations, during a time of significant change, including the market merger between Richard Bertram Yachts and Allied Marine Group.

McDougal's arrival provides a further boost to the commitment of the Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Ferretti Custom Line brands on the American continent.
