Ferretti Yachts developments in style and comfort to dominate the seas

Wednesday, September 12, 2007

The new flying bridge, on the water for the first time, is designed with the ambitious objective of raising reference standards for the 50-60 foot category, offering on board spaces unprecendented in yachts of this class.

Cannes will also offer the opportunity to admire the Ferretti 881 RPH (Raised Pilot House), on display for the first time at a boat show. The result of a restyling of the fleet flagship, the new layout retains the original yacht's build excellence, with the addition of a command console that dominates the surrounding seas.

The stylistic and functional development that is a constant feature of the fleet's yachts has allowed FERRETTI YACHTS to set out a precise renewal and consolidation plan for its undisputed technical and design leadership, also represented at Cannes by other successful models:

- The Ferretti 630 offers sleek, aggressive lines with a spectacular single window sweeping from stern to bows. This creates a 360 degree view of the sea from the yacht's interior, enhancing the effect of perspective and depth. The fitted kitchen aft can open out fully into the living area, another of this models highly innovative design features

- The Ferretti 780 (24 metres, 78 feet) boasts a totally innovative interior layout offering voluminous spaces and a choice of teak finishings and solid units instead of the traditional cherry used by the yard for yachts of this size

- The Ferretti 830, a luxurious flying bridge, is the first to offer the wide panoramic window with two opening lateral portholes for the owner's cabin, an open-view solution that guarantees excellent lighting and offers a wide perspective from anywhere in the cabin interior

- The Altura 690 represents the philosophy that originally underpinned the creation of the Altura series - comfortable yachts with extensive spaces allowing passengers to live well on board for medium to long periods, featuring finishings with a more nautical flavour and an emphasis on the use of wood

The entire FERRETTI YACHTS fleet is a perfect embodiment of love for the sea and the cutting edge technology the yachts can be equipped with at the owners request the ARG System (Anti Rolling Gyro), a sophisticated and exclusive gyroscopic anti-roll system that reduces movement caused by waves by over 50%, and the Gi8 system that enables constant monitoring of alarm situations and yacht management, also via SMS.
