Ferretti Yachts across the atlantic reinterpreting sailing with cutting edge technology and contemporary looks

Friday, October 12, 2007

Ferretti Yachts arrives in the USA for the 48th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the prestigious event that sees Florida become a venue for the meeting between the Old and New Worlds. After introducing some of the world's most significant stylistic and functional innovations in the sector at the Festival de la Plaisance di Cannes and the Genoa Boat Show, Ferretti Yachts proves its passionate commitment to the American market by presenting a selection of yachts from the top of its range.
The yard's close collaboration with the Studio Zuccon International Project and AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) - the Ferretti Group's engineering division - once again underpins the distinctive elements that distinguish its yachts at Fort Lauderdale: innovation, attention to detail, modernity and the ability to reinterpret the past.

• Ferretti 630: offers sleek, aggressive lines with a spectacular single window sweeping from stern to bows, creating a 360 degree view of the sea from the yacht's interiors, enhancing the sensation of perspective and depth. The creation of the large open-view windows in the cabin shows further skilful management of light, a solution that puts the Ferretti 630 on a par with much larger yachts.
• Ferretti 731, a modern, refined 22.68 metre displaying a symmetrical appearance around the yacht's central axis, both inside and on the flying bridge, with interiors restyled in a contemporary key with dark, open pore painted teak, chairs in light leather and an overall concept offering greater definition and more design.
• Ferretti 780, also available in a hard top version and presented for the first time in the USA at the Fort Lauderdale boat Show, this model is a 24 metre yacht with totally innovative interior layout providing ample spaces, alongside a choice of teak finishings and furniture rather than the cherry traditionally used in most yachts. The master cabin with chaise longue allows the owner to enjoy the natural light flooding through the two open view windows. A large sliding door separates the bedroom from the bathroom, equipped with a spacious fixed shower and tempered glass door.
• Ferretti 881, also available in hard top version. This 27 metre yacht is the flagship of the fleet, and embodies all the distinctive features that have led the Forli yard to become an icon of Made in Italy luxury throughout the world. The two large open view windows on both sides of the cabin have created a suite that offers matchless levels of space and light. The amidships full-beam cabin is laid out across the hull, offering the owner a sea view while relaxing comfortably in bed or immersed in the hydromassage tub.

The entire FERRETTI YACHTS fleets creates a perfect harmony between a love of the sea and Made in Italy quality and luxury, combined with the most cutting edge technology currently available, at the owner's request - the ARG System (Anti Rolling Gyro), a sophisticated, exclusive gyroscopic antirolling system that reduces wave-induced movement by over 50 per cent, plus Gi8 and Naviop, the system that provides constant monitoring of alarm situations and yacht management, also via SMS.
