Ferretti 830 and Ferretti 550: the new dimensions of luxury

Wednesday, September 8, 2004

Ferretti 830 and Ferretti 550 are the two new jewels of FERRETTI YACHTS, leading shipyard in the design of fibre-glass flybridge motor yachts ranging between 46 and 88 feet, and will be seen at their world premiere at the Cannes Boat Show.
They are two different interpretations of the FERRETTI YACHTS style and belong to two different parts of the range, but both share the innovative design solutions that exploit external light both aesthetically and functionally.
At the Festival de la Plaisance, the Forlì shipyard, a point of reference for Italian-made luxury worldwide, will be presenting a new design concept that revolutionises the use of space: the main cabin on the new Ferretti 830 super-yacht has two large open-view windows that make the owner feel completely at one with the sea; while the Ferretti 550 offers three heads and three cabins, an absolute first for a craft of this size.

Also in Cannes, FERRETTI YACHTS will be presenting two innovative technologies for the first time. These offer features which are truly exclusive:
NAVIOP is a system that offers continuous monitoring of alarm situations and yacht management also via SMS. The ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) system is a sophisticated gyroscopic anti-rolling device that cuts wave-induced movement by over 50%.

Ferretti 830 and Ferretti 550 are therefore two new pearls in the luxury boat world providing a perfect combination of love of the sea and futuristic technologies, in total respect of the "Being Ferretti" philosophy.
